APS,SFR,AAM, and Greddy make nice #"/70mm exhausts..The HKS is a bit small and robs HP on boosted Applications IMHO, we saw a 30whp gain from going from an HKS to an APS dual 2.5" set up..
when i got my aps st, i had a budget. after turbo, spacer, install, and guages, i ended up 2 g's over. so for me spending another 2 g's (for a total of 4 thousand over budget)for the tt and added install was out of the question at the time. i've since modified my exhaust and should be getting close to 400whp at 9psi( i was at 385whp and 402trq before i found a restriction in my exhaust). now that i have more cash, i bought the utec for the map switching capability and some true turbo cams from scott's performance. due to the shop installing a power enterprise kit on a z for the sema show, i have to wait till next week to install the parts. if i had the money, sure i would have went tt. but if i had the money, i would have bought a gallardo instead. it's all about your budget and what you feel comfortable spending. in the end my g-wagon will be pushing 430+ on 93 and hopefully 470+ on c-16. if you guys have any questions about any of the mainstream turbo kits,(aps st and tt, pe tt, turbonetics st) look us up at the sema show in philly. we will have the car version 2 cars up at the show. if you can't make it, the following saturday car version 2 is hosting the ecza spring meet. sounds like there will big turnout.

jic, whats a good exhuast for the APS ST?
beastie, are you using the stock motor or is yours built? youre always mentioning going for 500hp so i assumed it was built, thats why i said add a shot, but i meant a real shot, something like 200, IF YOURE BUILT!

My car has been at CPRace for the last 6 weeks waiting on my motor to be completed. I am having a fully built short block with NISMO cams, new rps clutch/flywheel and other goodies. We are aiming for +500 whp. When are you going to break down and start the build?

i want to build it and push for more, but most of the time, i dont want to mess with it, ive got it running pretty good and i dont want to spend anymore on it. who knows, maybe when i get bored again i might build it.
