after doing the math

Crawford Headers = 980
Crawford HFC = 500
HKS Exhaust = 1400
Iso thermal spacer = 300
Modified lower plenum (Mrev+) = 140 (has been dynoed to help non-revup motor)
UTEC/Tune = 1400+
Install will be around $1000+ for headers/HFC/Exhaust (MREV/Spacer can be done by your self)

That's about 5.7k+, this should be the same HP but will have less torque than a Stillen SC Stage 2.

I guess for less than $1,000 more you'll get that extra torque and nice pimp factor. Well minus - for ugly hood though.

Yeah the torque on the F/I is good. That's one of the reasons why I was considering.

For this application I don't think the headers are necessary, HF cats can be replaced with test pipes for half the cost, several exhaust systems out there for HALF the cost of the HKS. All this considered you are spending significantly less than for an installed Stillen.

Also don't forget that the Stage II warranty from Stillen is an additional cost over the kit itself...

the hood does not look bad at all in person,on the site it looks like crap.you should have a lift it makes it a little easier but jackstands are ok to.it took me all day to do mine(9 hours roughly).but to be honest when i did mine the only other choices were ati(4 blown motors with the first ones)and vortech.i dont like the rattle sound so i went stillen.now if i had the choice it would be a turbonetics st,but they were not there yet.btw this was done in early 04.dont get me wrong i still love the stillen.

Well if you sell your stillen and parts let me know. I can even give you my stock hood for trade. If you wanted to go the turbonetics route we could chat. Where are you located?

you can get the fujitsubo for about $900 but you might as well partner this with the fujitsubo y pipes around $450-$500, in the end might as well get the HKS.

Edited: To achieve Stillen SC power the cost will be close to $5k-6k and I don't think the torque can match the SC. There's no way NA with Stillen stage II power will cost half, so if i add another $1000-$1500 and have more Torque and nice pimp factor I'll definitely go the SC route. But that's only if i can go pass that ugly hood.

+1. Headers on this car are not worth the money IMO. $900 for crawford headers and another $400-$500 for install to gain 10-15whp. No thanks! Spend the $1500 on a nice coilover set.

You see the hoold dosen't bother me. On black it looks the best. Just imagine it without those IMO ugly rims and the girl.

I don't know about you guys but girls should never be in car photos. I don't understand they don't make the cars look good at all! You should be taking pictures of girls in their underwear without the car lol.

I'm not boosted yet, but here's what should be common knowledge...

1. I'm sure there has been at least one or two... but don't look at them thinking the same will happen to you. They must have done something really idiotic or careless for that to happen.

and

3. All of the turbo, supercharger kits come with base maps so your car will run fine right after install. No, it doesn't need to be re-tuned, but either way, because all cars are different, any car can benefit from a fine-tune on a dyno. Even stock cars, but the gains in fuel economy and power are better for the boosted cars...

the dyno chart you attached shows in plain text, on top of the chart - FLYWHEEL power. so, this is not 'whp' - this is 'hp' or 'bhp'.

you will never be able to get anywhere near as much power out of NA bolt-ons as you would with even stage I stillen.
