Help on deciding FX35 or 45???
Hi all, I am looking into buying my 1st FX, and trading in the 99 Rx300 we bought new, that has served us well for 8yrs/problem free, im a performance freak and I enjoy modding cars with my buddies in my driveway. I am very close to finishing up my single turbo install/fuel/etc on my project and I am ready to take on something new, I love the styling and performance of the FX to much to pass it up
The car I purchase will most likely be used and under 20K mileage. But before I do, I need a bit of help from some of you, I noticed that used FX45s are very similar in prices to FX35s, which would you guys prefer and why?
What are some known problems with the 35? problems with 45? this would be a daily driver, so obviously the one with less problems would be the better route.
Are both cars very similar on gas? would i get 15-17mpg driving in NYC roads? because I was getting 14mpg with the RX300 so anything around that would be a +
I would be driving this for awhile, until they offer more turbokits I can intall on my own with the help from a couple of buddies
Also am I better off with 18" stockers, rather then the 19"-20" due to 18s having better cornering ability/ alot more tire selection/ Drag Radials only go up to 18"
Do you guys prefer RWD or AWD on FXs? I would think AWD would be a smarter choice being that it does snow here
Anything I need to know before I take a test drive/ inspecting the car, I would make my decision based on your knowledgable experiences, thanks all

WOW I'm surprised to see so many prefer the 35 over the 45. I have a 35 as a rental during my vacation trip and I love it. Man what a nice ride. I just keep saying to myself - if this was a 45 we could really have some fun. I am amazed at how well it handles though. The ride is also great.

FX45 being around $7000 more than FX35 (both fully loaded)
This is my pick:
FX35 Fully loaded
Eibach
Stillen True Dual Exhaust
LMS Intake
8K Head Light + 8K HID FOG
Tint
Crawford Plenum
20" iForged Wheels + Tires
with all that above it's about the same price as fully loaded FX45 with pretty much same performance. or you can forget all that and get the FX35 and Stillen Supercharge it!!
