I dropped off my car yesterday...
I got an 06 G35 Sedan AT. (bout 3400 miles) Sand color. Premium, NAVI, with the intelligent keyfob, splashguards...as my loaner.

Its nice, I paired my cell to it (just like in my car) It feels quick, but has to much roll, the car accelerates good, but just floats around, I guess Im used to the sport suspension.

I wish that he 6MTs had the keyfob thing. for those of you that dont know, you just have the thing in your pocket, and you can open doors, trunk, and start the car with out a key..
everything else is just like my car.. (except the space!) oh and I miss my Nav "okay" bypasss module!

Theres even a difference between the coupe sport suspension and the sedan sport suspension. Coupe just handles better but the sedan is more comfortable (suspension wise).

 

There will be alot of Sedan owners that will dissagree with you.

Real_G. I had the exact same loaner you did (except no Navi). My impressions are nearly on par with yours too. The Sedan just seems to wobble too much when turning a coner with even the slightest uneveness on it. Also, the auto is a little too jerky and (and this isn't the fault of the Sedan as much as it is on the Auto) is that there is so little feedback feel. I'm so use to the vibrations, sounds, and whatnots on the 6MT that I can't tell how fast the Auto Sedan is going to if I'm pushing it to the limits in Manual mode. Hard to describe.

My car is a 05 6MT.

 

I'm not sure I like the keyless fob thing. Yes it's nice not to have to put the key in to start. But you will have to fumble with it to lock/unlock the doors. Lexus version unlocks the doors when you get close enough.

 

They can disagree but it doesn't make it any less true Coupe > Sedan in terms of handling (stock). Of course you have to deal with the fact that the coupe will need tires earlier than the sedan and you can't rotate the coupes tires due to the staggering.

The auto on both models are pretty much the same after 05 and you are right, it is a no where near as good as the sequentials that are out on the market. I hope Nissan is developing its own dual clutch sequential system or I may defect to BMW when it comes to get my next car

 

I also had a auto loaner before my car was delivered. The transmission is horrible, it has two modes, all out or snail. There is no in between with the Automatic, atleast that was my take on it.

 

You don't have to use the fob to lock/unlock the doors. If you have the fob in your pocket, you just touch a button on the door handle. Same with the trunk.
I like that the fobs are linked to the memory settings. My wife doesn't drive my car that much, but if she unlocks the car the seat and steering wheel automatically move to her settings. The next time I get in, it moves back to my settings. Freaked me out when it was new - I'd open the door and the seat and wheel would be moving.
The only time I have to fumble with the keys is to get in the house.

 

Yeah, the keyfob just has to be on you (in your pocket, or keychain) there is a small button near the doorhandle / rear light to unlock/lock. I love it. I with the Coupr 6MT had keyfob! I mean, you still have to "turn" the ignition, so why didnt they implement that with the 6MTs??
