Ok.
I have devised a new game called "How many times can I get Infiniti to call me for service"

I hope I can get the rest of you to play this game with me. Here is how the game works. Infiniti will call you when you have about 12K miles on your car requesting that you schedule a service appointment with them. Usually the first call is from their "corporate office". Corp refuses to give you a price cause they couldnt possibly have any info on prices. (Hmmmmm wonder where the mythical pricing info comes from) Then someone from the dealership that you bought your car calls and trys to get you to schedule a 15K service appointment. When you ask, "How much" they say they will have someone call you with an estimate based on your car. Then the NEXT DAY a different lackie from their service dept calls and trys to schedule you for an appointment without being able to tell you how much is it going to cost.

Now... Lets all play. Here is my score......

5 calls in 7 days - still no price I will update this post next week with the new score.

I dare any of you to play this game with me. There is no way your local dealers service dept could be more retarded than mine.

Now... for the final part of the game. Who wants to take guess how much the service on a 2005 G35 6MT, Coupe, Premium Package (not that it matters) with 12,434 miles on it will cost. Lets see those guesses!!!!

I will let you know the price as soon as I do.

By the way. I do love my car and the car buying experience at this dealership was great. I just thought I need to bust some ***** on this one.

my guess is around 200 bucks for the 12000 mile service. my dealership just sent me a card when i hit around 1200 miles saying i needed to take it in for its 1200 mile service.. price? 100 bucks. HA! car hasnt seen the dealer since i drove it off the lot the first time. 3200 miles later still doing just fine (i change my own oil)

I never got phone calls, just little letters saying "hey, you must be close to 15,000 miles, it's time for an oil change! and then a coupon for $10 off for service over $100 . . . 15,000 mile service on G35X #1 was just over $300.
Number #2 just hit 13,500 -- took her to a local garage -- Mobil 1 synthetic oil change and air filter change (which looked filthy -- only 7 months and 13.5K miles!!) was $105. will probably take her in around 15000 for cabin air filter, look-over, get the little stamp on my maintenance book! Kash

I get non-stop emails, letters, and calls.

I finaly lost my cool at one of the callers, since it was pretty convenient they could harase me about billable service, but wouldnt return my call regarding shoddy warrantee service...

I dont get calls, but get occasional letters. I do the maintenance myself so Infiniti has never seen my car since I drove off the lot.

Of course, I'm also not allowed to tell anyone how much I paid since I got such a *great* deal on it. Really, I did internet research and called non-local dealers and went into Infiniti saying "I want you to find a 2005 Sedan in DG with aero/spoiler sunroof and nothing else and this is what I'll pay" and they were alright with that. But him acting like I stole the car and actually having the nerve to treat me like a moron and literally telling me not to tell anyone else what I paid because my deal was so good did **** me off.

If its only gonna be 200 I wouldnt mind bringing it in. I have heard horror stories about the dealership trying to charge people 700 for a "service".

I can see some stealerships trying to charge us that
kinda $. There list includes things like rotating
tires and servicing the antenna.......80% of us should
be smarter than that!

I just had the 30K done and it cost me about $430 bux and I told them not to change the oil, air filter, or cabin filter.

That service included Trans, diff, radiator, fluids. Also all belts.
