No, I actually went back to Cerritos Infiniti because that's where I bought the car. I been to that one in Glendale for an oil change and they were jerks to me so I avoid that one plus Fresno and Metro's Infiniti.

The easiest way to get the bulletins is to do a basic Google search.
Use, "G35 Service Bulletins" and there will be a ton of sites that offer this information.
Doing your own Due Dilligence always pays off...

Hmmm...well like I said was in the past (~year ago) with Glendale. Sounds like they've changed for the worse. My local changed ownership awhile back and hasn't known their 'you know what' from a hole in the ground since. Thanks I'll remember to stay away from Glendale next time in SoCal.

I don't drive like a grandma! hahaha Come on now, I drive a G...hahaha My engine may be stock, but it has smoke a 99 M3 last month

Oh trust me, I drive this car so rough that's why I was expecting my engine to blow. So when I actually sign up for this forum and found out about the OC, I was glad to hear that I can possibly qualify for a new engine, that was good news

F/U to my previous posts, OK, I went back to the Dealer and had my master cylinder and slave replaced because of another issue. At this same time, I got an oil change to top up the engine. The CS rep said that they sealed the engine and want me to drive the car for 1K miles, return and they will measure the oil loss. Then we will do this again 3 more times to see exactly what the oil burn rate is and to determine if this engine is part of this problem according to the graph in the Bulletin. If it is, I get a new engine... If it isn't, time to buy a Vortech SuperCharger.... This is how my local deal decided to handle the problem, your experience may be entirely different. Best I can say is; it's best to go to the dealer with the Bulletin in hand as documentation and do your "Due Diligence" so you can help them help you.
I'll let y'all know what happens.

Took my car to the dealership over the weekend for an oil change and had them check my oil level since my power train warranty is about to expire.
The service advisor told me i was 3 quarts short. At first, I heard 3 quarters short, then it registered and I panicked..."3 quarts???!?!?"
I have a 04 coupe 6mt. He told me to come back after 1000 miles. On my way home, I smelled oil burning. Opened the hood and my dip-stick was not in all the way. I have a feeling they over-filled the oil.......

Most likely why the smell.

Check your level to see if they 'did' or 'did not' overfill you.

yep. i saw oil drip after i checked the spot where i parked. ive never seen my car drip oil before. the shortage of oil is on file.

anyways, after i got home from oil change, i parked, had to go out so i started the car, and it sounded like the starter just spun and the car didn't start. tried again and the car started. any idea why this happened? im thinking my spark plugs had oil..
