Just to point out some observations, LHD vs. RHD is a localization issue. It's the same as the speedometer having km/h vs. mph as primary markings. It's also the same issue as the European models getting fender side markers and rear fog lights but we don't.

Whether a different localization makes it a different car is subjective.

I personally don't think so.

You can guess my opinion. It reminds me of when I got my 05 f-350. The whole front end was a new design. Some few clever people starting buying kits to make their front ends look similar to the 05's. Bad idea, it;s not an 05. Same as rebadging.

 

just do it. rebadging your car is just for fun and to do something different. no need to be so uptight about this. enjoy your car - that's what its for!

I don't understand what the big deal is here. Our car IS the Skyline. So your criticisms are wayyyyy off base. And if you look at the japanese v35 skylines they have already stock what the original thread starter is talking about doing. there is a difference between the various skylines, whether it be the v35, gt-s, etc. and the GT-R's. you are referring to the skyline GT-R, which has been completely re-designed but still based off our same car, and if you didn't know our car IS a skyline then you definitely need to learn more before you post. This comes down to personal taste, but you definitely can't knock him too hard for doing this mod.

 

I agree! I saw a 07 G35 sedan rebadged as Skyline 350GT, i thought it was STUPID. If your car is LHD, don't make others laugh at you, it is an Infiniti G35.

You don't do this unless you like people pointing and laughing and want to pretend your car is something it's not.

Come on you live in Fort Lauderdale you must see Mecedes Benz on a daily basis with AMG badges that are not AMG's. This sort of thing is no different.
