Mine hasn't eaten an ounce in 2,500 miles. The level is still right in the middle of the empty-full part of the dip stick, exactly where it was right after my last oil change. Your car should not be eating oil, and if it is, take it to Infiniti and demand it be corrected (although a quart every 3,000 is not that bad; it can be much worse).

The clutch is chattery on the 6MT, but I actually enjoy feeling engine vibration through the clutch and the mechanical noise it makes has a race-car quality sound to it.

I've been lucky with my car, only suffering the common seat squeak/creaking issue. Luckily, Riverside Infiniti has very good service and replaced the rails immediately. Tire feathering is definitely an issue, although for me, doesn't seem as bad as some. I have 16,250 on my car and jacked it up recently. The tread on the front tires is still just fine (rears were replaced at 15k due to rims being stolen) although they are starting to make noise. I have a driving style that is very easy on brakes and tires, so I expect to get 25k out of the tires. The stock Bridgestone RE050A tires have abysmal tread-life ratings and other options would yield better results.

The tires are the only major issue I have with the car, something Nissan/Infiniti should have corrected early on but never did (although it seems the 350Z has a TSB for the issue). Overall, I love it.

i have an 06 6mt coupe. this is my first car and the only real problem im having with it right now is the tranny noise. you can only hear it while driving near walls and cars. but also when i turn off my engine. OMG!! i seriously think i broke something. its just a LOUD raddle. but other than that. my coupe is still running great.

About the seats, man I was at a point where I was applying Lexol to my seats almost on a daily basis after I got home from work to keep them conditioned. This seemed to help, but there is no possible way to avoid the creases, unfortunately. Maybe they are less noticeable in your interior (is yours black?). I noticed that black leather does not show as much wear as lighter leather.
You hit it right on the nose. I do have a black interior. I am surprised you think the chassis is a weak link with this car. When I step into the G from an accord coupe, the G feels much more planted. However, I think you have driven a lot nicer cars than me.
