Which year opinions....!

Hmmm, early models I'd go with the '04 like mine with low mileage....less than
25K miles and very well taken care of. Any newer I buy a G37 even though
I dislike the frontend which Eric could fix!

I just bought a 2003 G35 coupe with 23k miles from a doctor.
The car was barely driven, garage kept, still has some stickers on it.

I am pretty happy to get it for 25k CAN specially when it is the fully loaded version less the navigation.

I would like a 2005 just for the dash (a little nicer)
2006 for the memory seats and extra power, but I will not be happy if the oil consumption goes up after it comes out of warranty so I am extremely happy with the 1st gen for now.

Honestly.. Go with the G that has the nicer interior.. mine feels so outdated and ghetto compared to all the newer G's I see.

Please make sure you get a 6 speed tranny too.. It just looks so much nicer on the interior as well.

6 speed tranny for sure. Although I think ppl should go with what they like, afford and feel comfortable with.

I was in a GTR yesterday and I was in love with the interior, but that doesn't mean i can afford one just for the interior.

If i would be to buy something it would have to be a little more then just interior.

For example for me Brembo brakes were a must so that put me in the 2003-2004
category (did not feel adding 3-5k just for brakes) + it totally depends on the price and the mileage of the vehicle.
Bought mine with 22k miles for 25k so if i really wanted i can easily put a few grand into it and update some small things that bug me.

That's crazy talk. the benifits of the 06/07 far outweigh the brembos which is the only benefit the 03's have over the later models. There are plenty of threads on the performance of the brembos vs the later stock oem's.

It ain't a benefit.

yah the newer oems performed just as well as the brembos..
unfortunately it doesn't look as good.

Either way the g37 brakes are definitely pure sex
