Car beeps when starting

I can't figure out what is wrong here.

This only seems to happen when I start moving from a stop. Just as the car begins to move, there is a 'beep' sound. There are no warning lights that come on, just the beep. The car runs normally thereafter though.

Could any of these be the cause

1) I just got my tires changed over to snow tires
2) My clutch seems to stick when shifting out of 1st gear. That is, after I'm moving, and I release the clutch, it seems to get 'stuck' during the last inch or so. It doesn't literally get 'stuck', it continues to release, it just feels a bit different. It's tough to explain, but this happens well after I hear the 'beep'

The owners manual provided no suggestions. Any ideas?

I don't have an intellikey

This only happens when the car is running, and I'm stopped, then start moving again. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the Tire pressure monitoring system, but there is no warning light. I'm also thinking that my tires could just be slipping since we just had a big snowstorm and the roads aren't 100% clear yet. But again, usually when that kind of beep occurs, I see the "SLIP" light blinking. Finally, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my clutch. As I said, it seems to 'hang' just a bit on it's way back up after I start moving. But the 'beep' usually happens before the clutch reaches this point.

I called the dealer, they didn't have any ideas.

It really sounds like your ABS doing a system check. Im not sure if it's supposed to beep though. Does the SLIP light stay on?

I'm like 90% sure it's the ABS system check, and it's beeping and more noticeable because of the snow/ice, maybe the cold temp too.

the only beep i get is when i sometimes leave the door open or the trunk, it will beep and then the navi tells me door open or trunk open.

I only mentioned the slip light as a comparison. It's teh same beep I hear when my tires are slipping, only this particular phenomenon is not accompanied by the 'slip' light.

It's just a beep, without any accompannying warning light, that goes off as I take off from a stop.

It doesn't happen any other time, and i've been watching it closely for two days. It's been very cold and snowy here, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Is the low tire pressure light on? They may have broken one sensors on the wheels when they switched tires

No lights are on. Just a beep when I start moving from a stop. That's it. No lights, no buzzers, no flashing signs. Just a beep.

Just a short beep. And it only happened when the car first begins moving.

Anyway, I just drove home from work and tried a few stops and starts. No beep. The problem is completely gone. The clutch doesn't seem to stick anymore either.

I'm wondering if it is just the temperature. It was -10 this morning, definitely much colder than it's been in a LONG time. Maybe the roads are just slick enough that the traction control would kick on, but not enough so that the light came on. Also, over the weekend I got the car stuck in some pretty deep snow, I'm wondering if it got up underneath the car somehow and froze, and that is part of my clutch problem.

It warmed up a bit today, so the roads are in better shape, and maybe that fixed my problem.

Wacky, just wacky

At 10 degrees and under...cars do strange things. Sometimes my interior lights don't turn on when i open my door on a recent night when it was 5 degrees out

It is without a doubt just the ABS doing a system check. It happens when the car first starts moving and never happens again, it's supposed to do it so you don't notice, but you will if it is so cold and icy.
