Well I should be showing you guys pics of my car with the Volks on it. It was supposed to rain this morning, but when I got up it was nice and sunny so I decided to put my Volks on. That didn't go so well. When I put them on the front and tightened down the lugs the wheel just barely touched the new caliper, so now I need spacers at least for the front. I won't know about the rear until I get that BBK on and test fit them.

The wheels have an offset of 23 in the rear and 28 in the front, so does that mean the rears will need bigger spacers then the front? Also, if I put 5mm spacers which it what I should need on the front will the studs be long enough or will I need longer ones?

Here's some pics of the front BBK with my current wheels.

My rear rotors just arrived so now I have everything I need to complete the BBK. All I need to do is find the time.

Hey Mike is your spoiler aftermarket, or from an 03'/04' coupe? PS If you decide the Volks don't work you can always put them on here for sale, and do some 20X9.5, 20X11 Works SSRs, or HREs in super aggressive offsets! I'm super impressed with the suede, BBK, wheels, stereo, reupholstery, and the attention to detail you've stuck with -no short cuts, that's how my build's been and I respect that. Fantastic, classy build.

My spoiler is OEM. I think it was in 06 that they changed the rear spoiler. I'm sure the Volks will fit with some spacers. I have a set of 5mm on the way to me for the fronts. I'm hoping the rears will fit without them since they sit flush as they are.

Thanks for the compliments. Sometimes I have to stop myself because I get impatient and just want to get finished, so I look to cheat, but I sit back and say to myself I've come this far there's no sense cutting corners now. I've got the bulk of the work done. Hopefully in another month I'll have it pretty much complete..

Forgot to ask you about the sound deadening material. Have you had a chance to drive your car with it and does it block out a lot of the exhaust noise? Thanks!

I would say it helps slightly with the exhaust, but not a lot. Where it does it's best work is in road noise and interior squeaks and rattles.

No it's still orange. I've been considering taking the wheel off and doing it in red, but that will have to wait until the rest of the car is finished.
