im pretty sure most of us started out with hondas, i had my prelude for 2 years. No vtec because i had the h23 but after i put cams in that car it seemed like it was super fast. To a 16 year old kid who's never drove anything else 140 or so to the wheels feels like your hauling ballz. i will always have respect for clean hondas and the fact that they are light weight and most of them handle descently from the factory.

Pretty sure if you had all that education working for you you would have indeed ended up in that eg/ek/ej/da with the "oh so precious" k swap of yours. And news flash.... those slicks that are 100% necessary to turn that 11 second pass... yea... not runnin those on the street. So there goes Mr. Traction... buh bye!

But honestly, this convo is pointless. There is, and always will be... NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT. So, there is no comparison. You're talking apples to oranges between the two platforms. Our 6 cylinders will ALWAYS have an advantage over hondas 4. Its just that simple. Ask your buddies at the shop and they will say the same thing.

All im saying is, why even come to a g35 board when its obvious which platform you like more?

As for Jabber... dude just stop talking. This is the same numbnut who said he could put a honda into the 7s for cheaper than a G. It was just about that point where you lost all credibility. I now read your posts with the same level of enjoyment as I get from watching a child trying to figure out how to get the square block into the triangle hole.

I wish I would of been more into researching **** instead of going by looks when I was 17 years old when I first got my car because who knows my decision probably would of been sways, and who ever said hondas were the only car platform that I like? I happen to love supras, and sc and gs models lexus' with the 2jz swap in them! As far as displacment goes have you ever sat down and broke down the numbers on a k20r swap to our motors? pPer liter the k20r would make more per liter that our motor pretty impressive huh? I am not knocking the g itsa beautiful car and maticulously made but that was just one case and instance that I saw! The reason why I know so much about Kswaps is because I actually sell k motors online! As for advantage the advantage that we have will and always will be torque, as for power I can get you a dyno sheet of a k20r making 246 on dynojet with intake, intake manifold, header and exhaust with a kpro untuned, granted that is dyno jet which means it probably makes 212 on a normal dyno but how is that not impressive when I watch a dyno of a 350z with intake, header, and exhaust that made 226, in a car that weighs 3500 pounds. There are plenty of aspects that can be looked at! Don't sit and solely focus on one aspect of the car!

As for the guy whom said civics and integras are for bitches check out my buddy Howard running his car at Pinks all out him, T1's integra and inline pros s2000 were actually DQ for running to fast! I'm sure these guys are real bitches

Odd that Honda could make their 4 cylinder engines get 1hp / liter but when it came to their v6s, Honda had a hard time matching it. The NSX I think came the closest at 3.0 and 275hp?

I drove my friends 05 NSX and the car isn't fast at all but that car was designed to take turns and it handles beautifully but in all seriousness the car is a turtle lol! Beautiful car though would love to own one for the nostalgia!
