Anyone tried this folding remote "case" for the G?

You have to take out the internals and stick in that new case.

Looks interesting but it's 20 bucks for a stupid case.

------------

FALSE ADVERTISING! Seller PHOTOSHOPPED the NISSAN logo out of the case in the above photo. The case has a NISSAN logo on it.
Other than that, this is an OK case/key fob... The plastic isn't as rigid as the OEM remote.

looks promising, but my only concern is the metal quality of the key. I've seen and heard about similar setups breaking really easily.

I would buy it, but it wont do me any good once I get my remote start installed since it does not use the original fob by that point.

don't worry about the metal breaking, it is of ok quality ie not gonna break but it's not a perfect fit -

overall it is worth exactly $20 no less and no more,

they also have the more oval shaped one that's what i have and i think is bigger than the one the op has up as pic

somebody else here has it too and said it scratches easily but so does my old fob,

anywho the switcheroo is fast and 5 min you're done

another thing - the stainless steel is just as good as the infiniti stainless steel key

the plastic may scratch... but it is a aerospace polymer imo imho or somethin cause i tried to saw it the other day to shorten the bulky thing and it would not cut thru the plastic at all - it is real tough plastic

don't believe try it ur self - so it's not glamorous but it is durable as hell

my word on it

the ebay seller that sold mine name was suntek

i bet the quality control may not be superior to *** factories but the thick and thin you can have the locksmith work out - not an issue if you're will to have it grind a few times

mine was cut once and fit not as good as the factory but is does it's job - i could go back but i have several keys so who cares

i had one about a year ago and it was junky. cheap plastic and the spring inside that flipped the key out began to wear out after a few weeks.
