35 to 37

I went and looked at the g37 sedans today. they seem nice... alittle tighter in the drivers seat but way more adjustable. My question is has anyone went from a 35 cpupe to a 37 sedan... i think i need 4 doors because its impossible to get my daughter in and out of the coupe i have. Will i be disappointed if i switch. Ill be sticking with the manual if i do it and iam getting the s package.

A g37 sedan would be awesome, its faster than the coupe and it has more room DO IT!! I have a coupe and I kind of want a new 37 sedan.

I wouldn't bet on the sedan being faster in any noticeable amount, but the sedans are great cars and if you can't go for a coupe the sedan is a nice choice.

You won't be dissapointed. I have a 9 year old - IMO ... having 4 doors only makes sense since you have a little girl to shuttle around.

Finding an MT might be kinda tough though, but I think you'd still be happy with the 7AT and paddle shifters.

13.5 is the time the G37s sedan runs in the quarter mile according to motortrend and a few other sites, the G35 coupe only runs like a 14.2 stock. The Sedan is definitely faster and it is for sure noticeable, I have a coupe myself and I love it to death but theres no denying that its slower than the new g37 sedan.

^ a better comparison would be G37 sedan versus G37 coupe.

Thanks I had no idea a g37 would be faster than my g35 coupe.... Evidence of your statement that a g37 sedan is faster than a g37 coupe would be nice.

G35 Sedans are faster than G35 Coupes ( not by a huge amount ) Im pretty sure it would remain true on the 37's as well. Either way im sure you will love the sedan.

car love

So from what i heard the vq in the 37 series is way more stout. stillen is saying their 515 hp supercharger kits works fine on stock block. My orginal goal is 550 whp on my coupe so this makes sense. THe coupe build cost atleast 12k if i do the work myself. the supercharger will run around 6 and i could deff do it myself. 515 hp with 4 doors.... i think my daughter needs a racing helmet for her 1st birthday.... she already gigles when i goose it around a corner.

The new stillen/vortech supercharge is amazing! I would love to trade up to a g37 coupe and put that baby on!! Don't worry there is no way you won't be happy with a g37 sedan with a supercharger on it

I drove a g37 sedan for 5 days while my 35 coupe got a new engine put in. It was pretty nice, and noticeably faster. It was the base model though, so no sport package.

Well since everyone is hating on the coupe: I've been driving my G35c for 2yrs now. Kids are 2 and 5. I wouldn't give up coupe styling for the all too common and blah sedan. If you have a bad back, get a sedan. If you're not married and don't have a family car, get a sedan. Otherwise, remain cool rollin in one of the sexiest cars ever made.
