I got the notice a week ago, took it to the dealer today. They got it done in an hour and offered a free car wash =)

The invoice says:

Just had the recall fixed today and got a g37x loaner,pulls pretty good compared to my g35x,I need to boost it!

 

man this comes a little too late for me DAMNIT i totalled mine in jan the passenger airbag went off with no one in the seat and my side did not!

 

reminds me i should take my car in for the airbag

 

Taking mine in to Circle Infiniti in West Long Branch, NJ on Monday. I'm assuming they had my VIN in their system from previous repairs... phone call was quick and they'll provide a loaner.

 

This thread began last July and I just received my recall notice today, that's 6 months since we first heard about it. Glad it was nothing important.... I'll make an appointment and wait while they replace the connector. Don't want Infiniti to have my coupe longer than necessary!

Don't forget to check for new scratches. Not sure if the seats have to be removed, but all the plastics near my seats were all damaged. I saw it AFTER I took it home and had to take it back for them to replace all the damage parts.

IDIOTS.

 

Took my car in for this dam recall to Passport Infiniti Alexandria VA and they broke my seat control. One o the buttons now doesn't work. Called them after a few days and they said it was a 'COINCIDENCE' .. Called Infiniti USA and they told me to get lost. I am totally screwed...NOT FAIR.

 

Service is much better at Infiniti of Tysons or Chantilly. Sorry to hear that about your seat.

 

I'm definitely not bring mine in. The dealers around my area have the worst ratings and comments.
