I would bet my left nut that they will be come classics. Especially with the big V8's and HP they are putting out. Keep in mind the world is changing. The world is running out of petroleum, prices are only going to go up up up and one day people wont be able to afford to drive cars like these on a daily basis. As the world evolves into more efficient ways of doing things to help the planet and our wallets...until they figure out hydrogen and can market and regulate it....petroleum cars like the Camaro, mustanger, Challenger, will be a thing of the past and their value will only go up when cars like those wont be made anymore with petroleum engines. Even if petroleum engines are still mass produced in 50-70 years, these cars value will still go up just as it was mentioned earlier.

Maybe recent to the US but it does have 50+ years of history behind it.

yea i had s13 back in 01 before it became the next official ricer mobile. wats ur point? my point is i hope my g35 is long gone before all the kids/ricers start buying it and i see junk yard versions of it all over town

I'd say we have about the same chance of becoming classics as a Lexus sc. We aren't as rare (or awesome) as a skyline or a supra.
But technically all 25+ yr old cars can be titled as a classic. I know I'll have a big **** eatin grin on my face if I see a really clean G in 2030.

No way too many were made and even 18 year olds had them and were crashing them when they first came out.

Once enough have been crashed, maybe the value will stop depreciating.....

OP, I don't see these cars mounting to anything special.

Doubt it. Those 3 abominations they made to resemble the 60s and 70s versions will never become classics. You watch Barrett or Mecum, the 60-70s muscle cars will ALWAYS be considered classics. The "big 3" are falling far behind, especially if they cant even come up with new vehicles, you have to take designs from 30 years ago and "hip" them up and hope for increased sales(cuz having 15 different models of basically the same SUV isnt working for them either). Personally I think the new Camaro is one of the ugliest cars on the road today.

Thats like saying todays music will eventually become "the oldies"... not gonna happen either.

I agree with the Jook. There are few cars I have seen that have become classics. Too many cars today do not have any character. The only cars off the top of my head that are desirable classics are RX7 and Supra. Keep in mind they will be 20 years old soon and still cool as hell. My old Mustang is over 40 years old... I guess my G35 would be a cool classic in 2046
