do you still apply multiple coats with the brush on or just 1 coat?

bro.. just paint.. it aint hard..tape everything u don't want paint on.. Have u ever changed brakes before.. if so u know the caliper has to come off the rotor. Just tape up the inside of it so u don't get paint on the piston.

well, in that case they sell a brush on paint.. You might want to follow the same steps u did before.. tape everything up (rotor) >>> then prime or use a high temperature paint and BAM!! u are done..

Just clean the caliper very good, put one coat on and let it dry then apply 1 or 2 more coats, letting it dry in between each coat.. they sell a brush on caliper paint..

get the duplicolor brush on paint as Frankie said. it's a little more expensive (around 15$) but the end result will be worth it because they come out a high gloss black when it's dry. just spray them with the brake cleaner it comes with and do about 3 coats . You should see if you can paint the top part of the rotors too the edges are rusted

Rust on outer edge of rotor

Hey I know this is an old thread...and sorry I'm not that familiar with cars as well...is it normal to have rust on the rotor about half an inch from the edge? This is only happening on one of my rotors, for the other 3, the brakes seem to be making contact all the way to the edge. Do I need to adjust my calipers? New break pads?

Looks like the outer edge of the pad isn't contacting for some reason.

I'd pull the wheel off and unbolt the caliper and inspect the pad.

These cars are notorious for the rear slide pins seizing, causing abnormal brake wear and soft pedals
