Ya gotta love these threads, the very first person that posted gave him the correct answer! Five pages later now he's using a flipin brush? Sand the rotors, mask off (newspaper & masking tape) caliper/wheel lugs then spray with Rustolem high heat paint available at most auto parts stores. Not exactly rocket science! Seriously, don't Dads teach their kids anything today?

So I just purchased new back brakes and rotors....and after a week, my back rotors are completely rusted. It makes the car look like crap. I dont know a real lot about cars, so my question is...its this normal, do all rotors rust? Are there a certain type of rotors that I can buy that wont rust?
They all match
With 6 to 9 inches of additional snow predicted i don't see a problem.
Vehicle runs, brakes, and handles fine

A Firestone shop put on the wrong type of rotors for our wheels.
Their solution, which has been OK was to paint that area of the rotor black.
