What did you do to the G today?
One thing you need to consider is. A wider tire will give you more grip and better handling but, I'm hoping you have the power to benefit from all the grip you're getting. Also, I believe Shane is running 295's in the rear on his coupe so, he'll be able to give a better opinion on how they handle.

The setup I have is 255 35 20's and 275 30 20's respectively. I'll be switching to 285 when the 275's wear out. I too have some bolt ons (no tune yet but, it's coming) the look is amazing. The compliments never stop and my coupe performs and handles beautifully.
The one thing I like is the wheels don't poke out (I love that they don't) and during hard driving the confidence during hard driving is phenomenal. I have a mild drop (1 inch in the front and .6 inches in the rear) I'll soon be installing a set of Tockicos shocks and stuts along with Tockio swaybars. I can't wait to drive it after that.

Right now I'm running 255 35 20's in the front with no rubbing. You might be able to get away with a 265 in the front but I'd be leary of the tires rubbing. A 275 might be a no, no. 285 in the rear is definitely a go ( those will be my next choice) but, all of this depends on whether or not you're going with a stanced or slammed look. I drive my car hard from time to time and I'm happy with my setup.
