My buddies all give me crap for painting the hood given its carbon fiber, so I went ahead and did the same with the trunk. Lol!
They are both SEIBON, but my painter said the trunk, by far, had a much more smoother finish.
Anyway, I got the hood simply to let heat out. In my opinion it was the least aggressive vented hood on the market. Call me crazy, but I prefer the stock hood.
It does let heat out that's for sure, especially with the fans on. Again, I am not a fan of the gaps on either side, but the hood does allow you to hear the blower more.

This week:
INstalled a new rack and pinion (pro forged links) along with the necessary alignment
tightened up the suspension a bit (moved the Hotchkis front sway bar up another notch for a stiffer response in turns)
On the struts: tightened up the pre load all the way around (have megan track series full coil over all 4 wheels)
replaced the back driver side caliper and new ceramic pads
Positioned all the spark plugs so center opening is centered
re sealed a valve cover (had some leaking oil from previous repair)
detailed the engine bay
Still need to put on driver side rear spindle as the parking brake bolt head was sheared off trying to fix another issue.
Previous work: Valve covers replaced; ADD W1 oil catch can

Changed plugs and cleaned throttle bodies. Had an high idle so used the app to reset it. I'm almost sure these plugs are original because of how effing tight these plugs were and the condition.
Yes one was caked in oil. Wasn't aware the hr model suffered from leaky valve covers as well.
