Worst damage that can come from scraping
What's the WORST damage that can come from scraping the undercarriage of your car?? I think I may have bent something metal underneath my coupe, like the brace or something. I really don't know what it is lol.

From experience - your flex pipe(s) are going to get decimated. So - expect to replace your Y-Pipe each year if you care about leaks.... which you should as back pressure is an important part of the engine's ability to operate.
This said - even when you've worn through both the flex pipe weave and big slots of the underlying accordion pipe within and have holes large enough to put your fingers into... the car *will* still run.

I second the flex pipes. One day I went to meet someone at an office and had asked for directions to efficiently get out of the area to return back to where I came from (I was not familiar with the area). So the person I meet points in a direction with this large hill and I think "Ok, not too bad". Well, I go to drive up this hill and at the end is this kind of leveling off and I decide to go for it. I end up about half way over this and hear this banshee screaming from underneath my car and hit the brakes. At this point I'm thinking my exhaust has gouges back to the muffler and my OCD starts kicking into overdrive. I eventually go home and check underneath my car and all I find is one of my flex sections mildly torn up, not even a lot. I couldn't believe all of the sounds I heard was the result of the almost non-existent damage to my single flex section. That being said I've bookmarked the page to buy my Y pipe and keep a back up.

ive seen this start to happen, it'd be a good idea to cover them up somehow with some sort of skidpad

I also ripped out some fuel lines from that incident. Be safe drivers! And btw I'm almost maxed out low and I've never had even the slightest bit of problems with lines/tank before this
