That's the whole point. You don't need to call it a skyline for it to be what it is.

Infiniti, just like Lexus and Acura, is just a marketing thing mainly aimed at the US.
Regards to the value, I haven't seen one sub $6k at least in my area but I was never informed of the trending price before I bought mine. I have noticed the 350z's tend to be $2/3k more

I would say yes, sedan prices are also going up. Real hard to find a 05/06 g35 sedan with a clean title and less than 101,000 miles for less than $9k. Salvage/rebuilt titled g35s are everywhere and dirt cheap.

That's good to know. I will be selling my 2005 6MT sedan in the near future. The car is really nice but I do have high miles.

well the 05 and up are worth a little more than the 03s but def not $18k. here theyre more like $14k. idk man jus cus those dealers asking for the prices dont mean anyones gonna pay it. only people with really bad credit probably will. i mean it even says the dealer is asking over market value. no one should be dumb enough to pay those prices.

If you think those prices are ridiculous. Check this out! My cousin drove his 2003 evo 8 (124k miles) into the back of another car going 8 mph (I was passenger) last weekend. no support bar and pushed his intercooler into the radiator damaged both fenders, hood and bumper. Light damage but could be fixed. He put the support bar back on called insurance company they towed to a shop and today they called him telling him they're salvaging his car and cutting him a $16,000 check.
The kicker is he paid $15,550 for it 4 1/2 years ago and has 1k left on the loan. Now isn't that some shyt!?

Doesn't take much to total a car anymore sadly. A hard lesson I learned recently is that contracted insurance appraisers have more power than car owners do. If an insurance appraiser thinks your car is totaled due to frame damage, insurance does not have to have the vehicle towed to an independent frame shop to have it measured and checked out.

Fought insurance for 3 days demanding that they get the frame checked out before they salvage the car and they kept saying the car was already deemed a total loss. Thankfully I got more than market value on it and since it was a Jetta, I wasn't willing to try and fix it up myself besides the fact that it needed new cats that were insanely expensive.

Those listings you posted are from craigslist which we can safety assume are garbage pieces of shyt. And that's my point here, these g35s on Craigslist or Facebook groups are being sold for 7k 8k 9k like wtf making mint gz look cheap as fk. A 2003 evo with 120k miles goes for damn near 20 grand right now!!!!

The crazy part about my cousins evo is that it was beat on badly, needed a new tranny had a dent in the passenger door bunch of paint chips lmao smh I could go on and on with the problems that evo had. He wouldn't of got more than 9k selling it. Then this happens and he cashed in on 16k!!! Blessed I guess...
