Kind of on the topic but can someone help me out . Earlier in feb 2015 I bought my G coupe for 13.5k out the door with about 100k miles .. Kbb said I saved about 1000 at the time . Anyway it's now almost a year later and I'm trying to get rid if the G35 to get a g37 ... I owe about 8500 with 118k on it still and no one will give me even 7k for it ... Dealers have offered me 4k-5k . It's been in 2 accidents but body is in 8-9/10 shape its sitting on g37 wheels. Nismo front bumper and berks HFC . Not much done just simple . 2 sensors need to be replaced but why is it that no one will buy the car ?!?! Am I really gonna have to fork out 3500 for someone to take my car ?!
---------------------------------------------------

I took the post down and made a thread but there it is again for anyone who wants to chime in ... My G coupe is a 06 and my left 02 sensor and the fuel sensor( forgot the exact name but my gas gauge reads incorrect )

Mind you the dealer might of taken advantage of me being 21not having much help just KBB to steer me in a direction on a decent price for a G.

I wanted a black G and it was the only one within 100 miles for sale near me for 8 mths .

In my 2003 6mt coupe the fuel level read incorrectly then I cleaned the body grounds, installed a grounding wire kit and fill the tank slowly. Problem solved..for me at least. May help you out

I had to pay 11,8 for my 04 6mt coupe. 110,000 miles, fully loaded minus aero package. Great condition too. Nw prices always seem to be higher than east coast.

yea, we def pay more than we really should, but in my area there is practically no salt, so rust is the least of our worries. I saw the G's like mine go for under 9K on the east coast on Autotrader, but I didnt want to ship a used car and find out something was drastically wrong with it. I dont mind having a car over 100K. Hell I bought a BMW with 280K for $2500 and sold it back to the same dealership for the same price at 330K miles. I could tell my car was taken care of (minus prev owner who only had it for 4 months). it was 3-owner, and came with service records since it was bought. Only main issues is reverse likes to grind sometimes when cold and my drivers seat just started tearing where they all do.

High mileage is a non-issue; what's more important is proper maintenance and accident history (or lack of).

Checked the KBB on my car and its value is in the high $7k range for an 05 with all the options. Depreciation is a B...

I have an 04 6mt fully loaded minus aero and it went from 10,5 down to 9,8 in 5 months (NW cars are expensive af). Depreciating damn quick.

KBB is just a guideline. Market demands will determine real market value. Just look at the G35s for sale in the southwest. People want 6-10k for salvage title vehicles with 100k+ miles. That makes the clean titled vehicles go for a premium.

Kbb isn't the set in stone value of cars like people think. A friend of mine totaled his 2003 evo 8 with 120+k miles and they gave him 16k for it when the kbb value was under around 12.5k
