ECU Accelerator Pedal Reset Procedure help

Hi all. I am currently trying to do the reset procedure on my G35 2004 A/T after replacing valve cover gaskets and some other maintenance. I have tried doing the procedure several times with a stop watch and am not having any luck getting the CEL to flash like it is supposed to, i have followed procedures to disconnect the negative cable and pump the brakes to discharge the ECU capacitors each time and am having ZERO luck with this procedure! Anyone want to chime in and help a brother out?? Doing something wrong? IDK what is going on....

You got it if you disconnected the negative and pressed the brake pedal to kill all remaining energy.

I finally said screw it after the 4th attempt and just did all the other procedures, just took it down the road and DAMN it feels faster!! No CEL either so I did good I suppose! Now I’m itching for more mods!! 😎

when I had to do the pedal relearn, I just followed the youtube video. push play on the video and just give the guy like a 2-3 second headstart and follow what he does. I didn't even need a stopwatch because he has one running in the video.
