Should be fine.
Don't be surprised if the power steering ends up being a separate issue. If it's suddenly gotten REALLY hard to turn the steering wheel then your steering shaft u-joint is probably starting to fail.
Ask your mechanic while he's under the vehicle to spray the EVER LIVING **** out of the lower steering shaft u-joint with some penetrating lubricant (anything, even WD-40 will work) while he's down there, it's probably failing and starting to bind up. You'll milk another year or more out of it before it will have to be replaced. Typically they die a long painful death but spraying lubricant into it every few months limps it along.

I had that problem with my previous 5AT G35 sedan I had.But it never felt super stiff but it did clunked constantly until I spray a heavy amount of wd40 on the u joint and noise went away for about a month and then it came back

Turns out it was my dry u joint and the pictures I posted was my ac belt that was slightly torn but the mechanic said it wasn稚 the problem and that I shouldn稚 replaced that belt ASAP because apparently it isn稚 that crucial to the engine. After the u joint was sprayed with lubricant I immediately felt the difference in my steering and it finally steered normal again.

Update:Turns out it wasn稚 the u joint and I知 simply clueless what the problem is.My mechanic greased the u joint with wd40 and it felt like butter stationary but once I知 on the road the car still feels stupid stiff.I even noticed when my car was lifted in the air that the u joint had no play at all what so ever and was SLIGHTLY rusted but nothing to cause it to be drastic.now I feel like an idiot for dropping a good amount of money for the part at the Infiniti dealership.Another thing I noticed while underneath the car is that my passenger boot on my rack has a slight leak but I mean VERY slightly.Only thing I知 thinking about now is my tire pressure/tires because I知 still running snow tires in 80 degree weather because I have no other tires or my suspension. My control arms are new in the front but my shocks are pretty much shot and it feels like I知 riding on Flinstone suspension. My coilover and alignment appointment is next week so I will see if that makes a difference but as of now I have to drive an hour back to return the u joint back to Infiniti 😣
