Can anyone recommend a way 100% i can tell i need a new engine for my g35 05 6mt. Its looseing oil. Badly .Im aware this is a massive problem with this year of vehicle. Especially the rev up. Or even better a mechanic i can trust in kelowna British Columbia . Car i still under 100k looks and runs great. Any suggestions and recommendations are much appreciated

Get a compression test to see how much life the engine actually has.
Drinking oil isn't the end of the world, just top it off weekly, it's not uncommon to suck 2 quarts per oil change if the rpms are high.
Low compression however....

Hell when my car was on the track every other weekend one summer I went through 5 quarts during an oil change interval 😁 compression is great and it runs just fine. I should probably do an atmospheric PCV on track days though because the engine drank every drop.
What km mark were you doing oil changes ? Ive almost gone thru 5 at a 5km intervel planning to chamge oil tomo amd try a mobile 1 high mileage see if it helps. Do you mean like a catch can when you say atmospheric pcv valve?

I have a catch can on the sealed PCV system, atmo is basically plugging where those hoses go into the intake tract and putting a breather filter on the other end of the hoses so they can atmospherically vent off the crankcase vapor.

Yeah the catch can stays on regardless, having an atmospherically vented system makes a big oily mess in your engine bay because the oil vapor coming out of the breathers sticks to everything. That's really the only downside, other than the potential fine for deleting emissions equipment.

I use conventional oil and stick to the 3750 mile engine oil change interval that Nissan recommends.
Water out the tailpipe is normal, condensation builds up and comes out as steam/droplets. It goes away once the exhaust is fully up to temp.
Poor quality fuel can also cause excessive water in the tailpipe. Not sure what your Canadian options are but I stick to Exxon usually.

well i didnt find any leaks or anything that looks bad . I was actually suprised at how clean it was underneath maybe it just burns alot of oil or maybe from driving it hard and down shifting lots .Originally Posted by cleric670

I've only ever used premium 91 octane in it thats the best fuel here. Where are you located? Coupdnt find the pics im a noob to navigating the forum.
