1) The paper thin weak front bumper paint.
2) Slow closing sunroof.

That's about it, other than the aforementioned problems, I truly enjoy driving my car!

My front bumper is destroyed from rock chips, bug stains and the guy I bought it from scraping on everything. My wheels are completely rashed all the way around. My weather stripping looks like ****. The transmission is very picky. I have a tear in my driver's seat leather. Other than that, I love the car.

I have 04 coupe.

No hood shocks, stupid prop thing (easy fix)

The brake/clutch res cover (easy fix)

A/C coming on every time climate is turned on.

Weight

lack of power recline

rattles

reflector headlights and not projectors (easy fix)

Con: everyone trying to race at almost every light
Pro: Winning most of the time.

Pro: The attention from everyone as I drive
Con: The attention from the cops as I drive

Probably more but I'm tired. Overall I love my G and the Pros totally out weigh the cons.

Definately AC coming on everytime climate is turned on, soft paint especially on bumpers, stupid compression rod squeaks, slow tiptronic shifts, and thats about it. Other than that love it. Infiniti should fix all these damn problems for free!

There there is reaction time error. Maybe he didnt realize you were racing until after you did your ricer take off and were 4 cars ahead, yes then congrats on your "win". You even admit in your own statement it is a faster car. If you know it is faster, then you should know the only possible way for you to ever beat it is an error of some kind. In that case, I am sure I can beat a Ferrari 430. I just have to hope I get a 2-3 second jump on him.

Let me ask you this question ricer boy. If you race a 1000 hp Supra at the track and it mis shifts, burns a clutch or something and you end up winning... is that a still a win to you?
A win is a win. Even if the dumba$$ blows his engine in the middle of teh track, yes I still won, racing is not just driving, it is keeping you car in top running order, and driving it to a point that you do not blow sh*t up. So yes he won.

He was not messing with me, we both took off from the stoplight at wot. We were messing around before we got to the stoplight so I couldn't have caught him off guard. It was a race, and I beat him. It's pretty obvious the driver wasn't as quick as me because I pulled on him from the get go and seeing as that's awd, he should of pulled on me.

Go ahead and say "with a better driver you would have lost" but he wasn't a better driver than me and so I beat him. What am I supposed to do if the driver sucks? Should I go out and get a professional driver to take his place before the light turns green?
It is ok dude. These guys on here are just jealous. Any car can beat any car on any given day. Yes the Jeep weighs more than a thousand lbs heavier with only 100 more Whp, and yes your are right, with that much extra weight you need a hell of a lot more than 100 WHp to make up for 1000 lbs. Some pple are just plain dumb. Like I said, but everyone was freaking out about, I had an 86 Honda Accord Lxi hatchback, it did have something wrong with the Elec Fuel Injection, but made the car faster, I outran a E30 BMW M3, on the interstate from about 30mph up to buried at 130 mph, the E30 did not even have a chance. I blew his "ultimate driving machine" doors off in my Ricey honda, with no mods, even factory wheels.

Like kazaam said, srt8's with bolton and tune, run all the way down to high 11s... G35 needs twinturbo for those numbers.
My best friend gotta 5.7hemi, We tuned it with superchips. and my Bolton g35 BArely pulls away from him. we neck to neck from dig till 40-50. We both awd and power brake. I pull top of 2nd gear and leave after that.
Srt8s Do hit a wall, but thats a little after 100mph. Because its basically a very powerful brick. Nothing some heads, and few better Boltons cant fix.
sorry g35s can Maybe play with stock trailblazer SS, but srt8 got too much ***** for us...

sometimes gotta man up and take it like it is. almost 5000lbs truck will beat you. You didnt make the g35 so your manhood shouldnt be hurt.
You guys should sell you G's and get Srt-8's, why exagerate for the Jeep? There is guy on here that says he has bolt ons like crazy and pulling 500whp and only getting to 12.5 in the quarter.

Different tracks, diff temps, diff humidity, diff drivers. Not much here except this really proves the statement of it all falling back on the driver. Also is you read closely, some of these Jeeps have mods others do not.

Also Sky is rocking a 04 sedan, not a 07 coupe. And you cannot pull a generic time for the SRT8 then find the best possible one for the G35 and compare them. A G35 will not do 13.5 without perfect track conditions, better tires and alot of luck.

No the G35 cannot "hang" with anything on the road. Get it through your head... you drive a slow heavy entry level luxury car. You stupid ricers annoy the hell out of me.
Wow your as dumb as the cat in your Av, yes a g can hang with just about anything from the same pricing category. You are a ricer also. Otherwise you would have bought an American lead sled. That was not the G's best performance.

Because we own a Japanese car we are automatically considered ricers?
As far as performance, a stock G cannot hang with an STI, EVO, anything with an SRT-8 in it...etc. I'm sure the list keeps going of cars in the similar price range that can beat a G.

I have been eating up an STI for about 2 years now. This guy lives on my road and has one, unless we come to a complete stop and then go, even then he only gets a small jump on me and I am passing him by the time we get to 50mph. Yes, if you buy a Japanese made car and put any aftermarket on, you are a ricer. Now if you buy a Japanese made car then rip out the engine componets and drop a LS3 or something american in it, then you are not rice. Unless your car has a deep, very deep, almost cut out bellow as it idles you are rice. Rice is all about taking something with a small engine and making it go fast as sh*t. I mean, that is why the G, ZX, SX, S2000, NSX, RX7, CRX Si, Civic Si, etc were all built. So you could have a fast car with out the smog and gas guzzling like the American Muscle car. Are we gonna start calling car corn b/c they are form america? maybe we should. so if you are not ricey then we will call you corny. hows that. so here you go corny

I don't follow your logic here. Yes, technically any car that is made in Japan inherits the name "rice". But "ricer" is something entirely different. Maybe the STI was a bad example because I know the new WRX is faster than the older STI's, and I haven't raced one yet. Ferrari's and Lamborghini's don't sound like a V8 so does that make these cars "rice" as well? The only gas guzzling American cars I would want to own and drive on a regular basis are the Viper and the Corvette.

Definition of a ricer:
*Any oriental import car that has been modified for no real performance gain.
* Ricer - Any person who adds tasteless modifications to a perfectly normal automobile.
*When a moron (see: retard, dumbass) decides to take a car (foreign or domestic) and tries to make it look fast. The car will not really gain any hp or performance, but it will gain numerous stickers and yellow paint. It can be identified by one of the following:
1. The sound of a loud fart in a coffee can.
2. The yellow blob with a bookshelf on the trunk that is 1/4 mile behind real cars.

Simply owning an import does not make you a ricer. I have seen many American made cars that are considered riced out.

No, no, no. I have seen Hondas that can do low 10's that say rice all over them and the owners of these are proud owners of rice rockets. Even things such as got rice on the plates. What you people are talking about is called the AutoZone Touch. You buy every stick on possible from Advance or AutoZone and then pimp the hell out of it like they are cool. Like the Turbo stick on, or vent stick ons.
