What do you hate about YOUR G35?
I dyno more than you and there's no way my car, or any other G thats not boosted, will beat an SRT-8 with a half decent driver. It sounds like that jeep was messing with you.

They do low 13s bone stock. With simple mods like pully, intake, tires, and tune they can hit 10s. Plus the 03-04 sedans only have 260 hp. You would be lucky to hit low 15s in the 1/4 mile with your car. There is no driver error in them etiher because they are autos. Maybe next time you should tell the other car with twice your power that you are racing before you pull your ricer fly by.
You should stick to racing work trucks, mini vans, and hybrids. You may be able to hang with a new Camry or Mazda6, but they both have more power than you too so it will be close.

My father had a WK SRT8 for a while. In fact I got to borrow it for a week while I was swapping rears on one of my other Jeeps. I hated driving it but that's another story entirely.
Now I also happen to own a stage 2+ turbocharged 2.5L Subaru running 14-15 psi of boost that should be close to 300bhp and is far lighter than your car. The Subaru will do 0-60 in the high 4's/low5's and will run the quarter in the 13's. I still don't consider that a "fast" car, yet it is much faster than my '06 G.
While I have never raced the Subaru and the SRT8 toe to toe, I know the SRT would pull on the Subaru. It's just fact. I hate to admit it but it's true. Those things are pretty quick, especially from a dig. And my Subaru would hammer my G mercilessly. I mean total *** rape mercilessly.
In short, coming from someone with intimate experience with both cars, as well as one that is halfway in between in terms of speed, there is absolutely no way you could beat a WK SRT8 from a dig. And there is no driver error with those cars. You just punch it and hang on.

By the way, I used to have one of the sickest modded 05 X sedans on this website with everything but FI, and if someone had pulled next to me with my Jeep I have now, knowing what I know now, I would shut off the ignition on my X.

The 1st time this happened, 3+ years ago, I thought it was the sunroof... But when I took it to the dealer, they found out that it was a loose axle bolt...
