You do know that the 03-04 sedan makes the same power as the coupe but is actually faster than the coupe since is lighter right? You're talking like the 03-04 sedan makes only 260 while other G's make 280 which isn't true. It was nissan marketing game. There's nothing different between the 03-04 sedans as other non revup DE g35's so the 260 was actually downgraded on the stats.

the 350z is rated 287 and it doesnt really make any more power either

the 298hp rev ups make about 10 more whp but arent really any faster since they weigh more

SkyWay, let me tell you a little something.

My father had a WK SRT8 for a while. In fact I got to borrow it for a week while I was swapping rears on one of my other Jeeps. I hated driving it but that's another story entirely.

Now I also happen to own a stage 2+ turbocharged 2.5L Subaru running 14-15 psi of boost that should be close to 300bhp and is far lighter than your car. The Subaru will do 0-60 in the high 4's/low5's and will run the quarter in the 13's. I still don't consider that a "fast" car, yet it is much faster than my '06 G.

While I have never raced the Subaru and the SRT8 toe to toe, I know the SRT would pull on the Subaru. It's just fact. I hate to admit it but it's true. Those things are pretty quick, especially from a dig. And my Subaru would hammer my G mercilessly. I mean total *** rape mercilessly.

In short, coming from someone with intimate experience with both cars, as well as one that is halfway in between in terms of speed, there is absolutely no way you could beat a WK SRT8 from a dig. And there is no driver error with those cars. You just punch it and hang on.

He was not messing with me, we both took off from the stoplight at wot. We were messing around before we got to the stoplight so I couldn't have caught him off guard. It was a race, and I beat him. It's pretty obvious the driver wasn't as quick as me because I pulled on him from the get go and seeing as that's awd, he should of pulled on me.

Go ahead and say "with a better driver you would have lost" but he wasn't a better driver than me and so I beat him. What am I supposed to do if the driver sucks? Should I go out and get a professional driver to take his place before the light turns green?

And yes.. you should probably listen to Dante (Kazaam)... I've seen both his X and his Jeep in person. He's a good friend of mine. If he says the G wont touch the SRT. Then the G wont touch the SRT no matter what.
