The whack paint on my 04 interior door pulls. Anyone ever look for a paint that's a similar color "aluminum"? Spent $60 on New ones and they looked like my old ones in 2 weeks. Just seems to be the door pulls tho; center console still looks new...smh..

 

^my door pulls look like **** too. Either get them professionally repainted or get some 2k aerosol clear and spray down your new ones with it.

 

Well my new ones already look like ***. If I do decide to get another new set tho, ill be putting like 12 coats of clear on em before I put em on. Would be cool to find a matching spray can for $4 tho.

 

If you go a auto body supply paint shop usually they can match the color and put it in aerosol can for you, at least around here they do.

 

I took mine off and sanded the paint off. They still scratch but I just sand them down again with some fine sand paper.

 

Yours is an 05-07 tho right? The 03-04 ones are black plastic under the paint. I wish they were interchangeable.

 

Yeah 05-07 have aluminum instead of the plastic. You could swap door panels. lol
