Not a feature at all, just a matter of doing things in the wrong order and it having the appearance of an auto-open door.
AGREED

On my 06, I see that above the driver's door. I wondered what it was for. I thought it was to put garage parking access cards (which I thought would be the coolest), but the card was too wide and thick.

Are you going to be using the handle if you put it in?

I deleted the post because I thought they were talking about the card slot above driver side window... I realized they were talking about the visor card holder (which is very handy)... the widow side card holder is worthless (IMO) - so yeah, I might install an Oh **** handle there... as far as using it... why? Are you thinking it won’t be secure? I'm hoping it can be mounted the same way as the passenger ones...

Hmm I never knew about the one in the visor. I will have to check that out. I thought you wouldn't use the handle cuz most people drive with their left hand and use their right hand to shift manually or shiftronically.

I would only use it as an alternative arm position for cruising (on fwy etc)...

Read through the thread... Do I get it right, that there is no way to program the FOB for the G to make a sound when I push the UNLOCK? Kind of useful if you are lost in the parking lot...

That's the good point... Makes sense.

While in this thread, what do dealers charge to go through reprogramming of features mentioned in the post #74?
