I think people that heavily mods their car do tend to take their car to extreme but at the same time, they also baby it.

Sure, they maintain it and wash it everyweek, but guys with CAI, exhausts, turbos, superchargers, etc. track their cars... a lot. That engine must be beat to all hell with the constant WOT runs.

no way am i gonna read all those long posts. so im just gonna say. i agree wit to a degree. yes it devalues the car. but a bodykit like impul i dont think makes the car look ugly. if i could i would def get teh impul kit. i think its nice and classy.

I sorta agree with the thought here and think it was a good subjecdt to bring up....
I look at mods as a valid performance item because:
the manufacturers have a price point, and most of your products are made by the lowest bid. I bellieve the Borla is a better exhaust, but not cost effecdtive to mass produce.
the components on the car are a compormise....I do not have to worry about snow where I live, so more open intakes are no problem. The sound has to be a compromise too. and a loud CAI may bother some and not others.
that aside, I wonder if we mod our G's more than the Bimmer owners...All those bimmers seem stock.that I see out in the world. At this early stage of the run, do more car enthusiats go with the G, while bimmers are more trendy and a safe buy???

Damnit, will you people quit resurrecting the dead. I start reading, thinking that it is something new, and come to find out that it is 3 years OLD!!! Start a new thread. Seriously, how the hell did you even come across this thread???
BTW, modding is great. Keeping factory is for ****ty cars like a Camry or Accord.

All it would take is one ride down the street in my car. My car is modded to the HILT! I get old, young, pretty much everyone telling me what a nice car I have. Maybe Infiniti/nissan forgot to add the mods, lol. I see it as I just helped them out. All these people breaking necks couldnt be wrong could they??
