I was out cruising for the night for fun when I decided to have a little fun. So I went to this place where they have a series of curves. I was just blasting through it at around 70-80 when I see some barricades up ahead about 20-30 feet away. I tried to swerve to my left but I still hit one of them. Now I have a series of scratches,abrasions,cracked headlights,a dented hood,and a busted side mirror. I was wondering if anyone could try to equate how much money it would cost to repair this. The police wrote me a citation for excessive speeding,and careless operation. I told him I was only going 40-45 miles in a 25mph zone but he didn't put that down on the ticket. Can anyone also estimate how much the ticket will cost me,including court fees.

Abrasions on my front bumper on my right side. It also has a slight crack down at the bottom.

Left sidemirror. There are some scratches in the front,and my lens are sticking out. Also I can turn my mirrors up and down,but I can't turn it left and right.

Well,

I know this is bad but you can claim it on insurance. Either you can admit you were taking turns really fast and hit a cone or you can lie and tell them there was a cone barricade in the middle of the road that probably some punk put there...

Either one, you are going to pay the deductible and your ins. will go up...

lets see..... 2 new headlight housings....$800
new side mirror.....$500
Body/Hood repair and repainting....$1000
Ticket.....usually about $200 unless you battle it in court, i recommend getting a lawyer since that seems like a serious charge. The main thing is not to admit guilt unless you are willing to pay the fine (and possibly have the points waved![img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]).

My advise, get a hold of an Injen or a Stillen CAI and blame it on them for making your car stall at high speeds.

Just kidding, but that came to mind for some reason.

 

Reckless driving is never a great way to boost ur insurance up.
