I got a little scratch like that on mine (not nearly as bad; hardly noticeable) already and I don't know where/when it happened; not only that, I hit a curb I couldn't see over the weekend and put a couple scrapes in the edge of one of my rims (grrrrr!)...

Eric, I feel your pain, man. After someone did something like that to my old car and I had to shell out a $500 comp. deductible to get a new bumper, I switched my comp. deductible on my insurance to $50 (only costs me a few extra dollars/month), in case that s**t ever happens again! I suggest you do the same, if you haven't already. Ask your insurance company about that. 'Hope you get her fixed soon!
