exhausts for the 350z are 6 inches (or was it 8?) shorter than the exhausts for the g

I know that its 6 inches too short. You can probably buy extensions but obviously your best bet would be to get the right system for your G

i know there is an extention out there but i think itll only work for the 350z nismo exhaust..

im assuming youre looking at a used 350z one..

i also suggest just getting one that fits the g...

Sounds like a lot of hassle. Another option is to possibly buy 350 Exhaust(If it is cost effective) and have an exhaust shop do the install so that it will fit properly.

over all the 350z exhaust is 8in too small. you need a 6in extention to get it to fit but the tips will always be bout 2in short and looks stupid.

plus your gonna get all that black chit on you bumper

just get a exhaust for a G and save yourself the trouble

There has to be 100000 threads about the HKS exhaust...everyday there is a new one, anyways dont get the HKS i just heard one today for the first time and it sounds like complete **** ( the guy was next to me at a light and took off and i had to plug my ears) So LOUD!! reguardless if it performs or not dont ever do this to your G there are 100 exhaust systems out there for this car that sound so much better and give you just as good performance.. 5 pounds isnt going to matter.....

sry this is off topic

HAHA sorry yeah way off topic, the exhaust does fit well. Performs great and is lightweight, but seriously anyone that would consider this exhaust after hearing it with wide open throttle is nuts. It might sound good inside the car, but from next to it...wow thats all i have to say.

LOL . . . I guess that's one passionate thumbs down for the HKS.

I love mine and am quite pleased with my choice. I listened to 4 different exhaust set-ups and have no regrets. There are many excellent exhaust choices for our cars out on the market. If you are decided on the HKS, I would definitely look into a new set-up, which fits properly.

+1...i love my hks, if i could go back and change it for something else i wouldnt...i guess you either love it or hate it...i love how it echoes through tunnels and certain streets...and when youre driving behind it the sun makes the ti tips twinkle blue...best looking exhaust imo...this is just my opinion!

I will give the HKS the award for best looking for sure. By far it is the best looking..looks amazing IMO. The kid that was next me took off and the sun hit it (was like 730pm) and it had that blue look to it and yeah that was awesome! as far as as sound goes i already said it haha
