Turbo or Supercharger for 5AT

I agree with him i want to get a turbo or supercharger as well! Personaly i want a turbo kit, but all the threads on this dont go into real detail on what has to be done for the 5AT coupe. I know the 5AT can be converted so the turbo can fit it, but what is EVERYTHING that needs to be done. I want a ball park figure on parts to make around a 400-475HP ...daily driver (instalation is going to very everwhere so dont include labor).
Thanks

Hey.. I have an auto TT.. if you want 400-475rwhp.. you can just get full exhaust, TT kit and kinetix SSV manifold.. tune it up.. ull be there - as for what I had to do.. nothing really that was a big deal except for have the original ECU reflashed for your AUTO car.. thats what I did, sent it to Technosquare in Cali who flashes them.. and the Greddy eManage I just kept

I think you're going to need some work done on the trans if you want to push that kind of power. At least a valve body kit from SGP, Level 10, or Stillen and a tranny cooler - 340 to 360whp is safe for stock internals and tranny - that's what I've read anyhow, could be completely wrong. I have a 5AT myself and would like to go FI, untill I find a replacement 5AT tranny cheap though, I'm not going to change anything.

Engine-Performance-wise, I'm running a Turbonectics ST, Stillen Catback, and Skunk 2 Plenum Spacer. On my Dyno (on the hottest day this summer), I put down 345 rwhp; I figure 415 hp at the crank. Outta the box, my Turbonetics ST cost me $5451 (not including install, guages, misc., etc).
FYI, by the time you realize the milli-seconds it takes the turbo to spool, you're already plaseterd to your seatback, and don't even realize the spool-time!!!! ...and that's no $#@&!
Good luck - Hope this helps!

Also, dont you get more torque with a turbo rather than a supercharger?
