yes. get a sub 200 hp car first and learn how to drive. get into your initial accidents with that... then 2-3 years down the line get the G. Thats my advice. Thas what I did and Im did.

Personally i think that after a few days with this car anyone can learn to drive it properly, but its not even that, its the maturity level...

if you have any sort of showoff mentality (which a lot of kids at 16 have, especially with cars) i guarantee you will wrap it around a pole

Honda Civic Si (160hp) was my first new car, I was 16. I would say start with something less pricey. Unless the 16 yr old is going to pay for it, then that's a diff story. His/Her money, they can do what they want with it.

car only has as much power as your right foot, and IMO this car is pretty slow, just NEVER turn the traction control off and u should be fine

It all depends on the driver... Which in this case is a 16year old... For a first car i wouldn't recommend it just because when i was 16 i was doing all the dumb things ur not suppose to do... And he will be taunted by the other kids at school... Peer pressure is big at any school... Thats a hard decision...

Thats funny I was going 145 two weeks ago...

Its fast if you wanna make it fast by pushing it. Personally, I dont think any 16 year old should be learning and driving on this car.

I first started driving a sh!tty white mini-van

I acquired my G when I was 16 and it certainly was not too much power...you can never have too much power

this was my first car and i am 18 right now, and i got it when i was 16. But if you love the car and learn to drive it the way you are supposed to, i think its fair. There are some friends who have gotten m3's and s4's for their first car. and i thought i was reluctant to get a g35.

doesnt matter what car you have. it depends on the person and how responsible he is.
