It is a stressfull thing to happen and My son and I were very lucky. If you guys know of anyone who has had the same thing happen to them it could be helpful. I contacted the infiniti dealer today and they told me they need to inspect it. I am actually doubtful anything will come from them or kinetix. I already miss my car she was a good friend.
wow check with the company who makes the part . I would not blame the installer unless you could prove it was installed inproperly . I own a shop myself so make sure who is to blame before you act ,glad you are ok car can be fixed good luck matt

Sorry to hear about the car....the good thing is you and your son are okay. You could easily sue the dealer and the maker of the product because one they installed it and correct me if wrong but I believe anything installed by a professional automatically makes them responsible (thats like them putting on a suspension and not tightening the nuts on the top and your shock falls).
