took it to the dealer awhile ago just because my power train warranty expiration was approaching. dealer will not replace tranny because like myself and many other 6MTs on this board, the chattering is "normal"

damn...i'll still give it a shot...my dealer might say something different...did you change anything else under warranty? like a fuel hose part for example?

I got a brand new tranny installed from Costa Mesa infinity. A little louder at idle with the clutch pedal out. I thought it was the throw out bearing...they just replaced it. I also got all new leather on the bottom for the driver seat because of a small tear from rubbing. go to small dealerships, they get reembursed by infinity and want your business (repairs)

i had that probelm checked by dealer and they will replace the tranny but not the clutch because clutch isn't on the warrenty. But they aren't sure weather is tranny or clutch causing the problem therefore I will have to pay $1000 just for the tear down if at the end the problem is causing by the clutch not the tranny. Dealer like to use that as angle becuase right now my car is in the dealer for another weird problem and this is same thing that they said to me today. check the link. https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetrain/128215-trany-oil-change-gears-problem.html

they will replace the clutch if you pay for it, since it will off the car anyways
