Air Filter Swop

I want to put in a K&N Filter. I've searched for guidance on how to get into the air box to put it in, but nothing found. The manual instructs the reader to take the air box off, is this necessary?

Thanks

There are clips all around your airbox, you need to undo the two top and then reach down to undo the two lower ones. You might have to take out the screw on the right side of the airbox, but Im not sure.

I installed mine when I did the z tube so it was easy, so good luck!

Great, the two top clips and one on the right hand side as you look at it? Sounds pretty easy, even for me!! Thanks a lot.

I have purchase Z-Tube and this filter too but thought I do it one step at a time; this will be the first mod I do myself and I'm a little worried as I know nothing about engines, only what I have learnt on this forum. OK, so best to do at same time as Z-Tube then??

Thanks

Here you go
http://www.6mt.net/mod-g35-350z-intake.php

complete guide to installing the ztube, when you have the original intake off you should put your filter in as it is convienient. It took me 15-20 minutes

edit: we have the same color car by the way

make sure when you put the Z tube on the seal is tight around the clamps.
