I am not too worried about maintenance cost since BMW includes maintenance while the car is under warranty. Performance wise, turbo vs NA, no contest.

Not even willing to wait, even with the new Dyno on automobile mag indicating possibly over 350 @ the crank? Turbos are all about instant power, so I think at this point the 335 might take it off the line if all we are talking about is a drag race. But after that it would probably be so close that lane choice or driver skill will decide winner each and every time in the 1/4. I almost bought in December, but wanted to test the new manual 6MT sedan which I could not find here in CT, then I saw the time line for the coupe release and decided to wait. August is a few short months away (for those of us with no cars on order) - I am curious, why not wait, are you that convinced the G37 will be less a competitor or do you not like the looks?

Or did you get a killer deal on a new 335?

Few $k more? Have you built a 335 yet? You can easily build a $55k BMW 335...55k for a 3 series...sigh.

I will take a S5 over a jacked up 335 anyday if you ask me, 3 series were a decent buy until BMW moved them into the 5 series price range.

u gotta be kidding me, a regular porsche boxster can spank a camry any time, and the new boxster S can even walk the g35

anyway, gl w/ purchasing ur new ride, to be honest with you, i think the new g37 is not looking good as the old g35. so im gonna keep mine and im gonna get the new m3

+1

The Lotus Elise goes for about 35K and it has below 200HP but it would more than likely spank all the above mentioned cars.

Infiniti could have done better on the exterior styling of the G37. As far as pics go, I ain't feeling it as much as the G35. But as far as the new M3 goes, I'd much rather go for thr GTR or Lex IS-F.

The A5/S5 is looking to be a nice car... let's hope Audi can keep the weight down, there #1 issue for me over the years, along with front-heavy driving dynamics. Glad the redesign puts more weight rearward, but still only 45%. Almost bought an S4 way back... glad I didn't.

Speaking of aftermarket and modding, the RS5 is looking to come with a TT V8... around 450HP... and boatloads of torque, knowing how Audi does things. Ouch!

The A5 is already known to be slow as dog poo, it's not the point of releasing the car but one of the main factors why I didnt order one already. Oh and it seems their original 35-40k pricing was way off as well.

Couldnt agree more...I went to the BMW dealer here in sacramento to look around at the new models while my friends car was being picked up...When did the 3 series all the sudden become same price range as the 5 series? I had a 2000 330i before my G and i liked the car but i got it at a good price, these newer 3 series are redic in price and ugly...would rather use my $ and get a E46 M3
