Clear Bra Pricing....What should a clear bra run?

Hey guys,

I went to a tint shop to get a price for a clear bra. He quoted me $395 to do the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors. This seems to be the going rate to get this done, but I wanted to see what you guys have to say.

I am about to have my Nismo painted and installed....does anyone know if you can buy a kit for the Nismo bumper?

Any feedback is appreciated!!

Mike

They can custom cut just about any type of bumper. Thats seems cheap is that just for labor or for everything? If its for labor thats seems like a bit much.

Thats not a concern b/c my friends have used them for tinting and they do a good job. They actually tint and clear bra cars for a local lexus dealer.

$395 for everything for 3M sounds somewhat on the too cheap to believe price. Make sure it's 3M and done by a qualified tech. The Job should take a few hours. I Paid that for my bumper alone. Always try to look at previous work by the installer.

That is a good price, paid almost $700 for my 3M+install. Have you seen their clear bra work on another car? Might want to ask to see that and make sure it is quality work. Clear bra is a lot harder to put on than tint, so that is not necessarily a good indication.

swolg35,
what city are you getting you clear bra installed?
i the best quote i have heard is 500$. that is for 1/4 the fenders and 1/4 hood and bumper and mirrors.
i am thinking of getting it but am not sure.
1) up close you can see the line where the bra ends
2) i want a full bra but it costs way too much.

That seems way cheap or else I was ripped off, but it was thru the dealer and the job is excellent.

go to http://www.xpel.com/ and locate a dealer. If the place you are talking about is on there, then your in good hands. Xpel is made with 3m scotch guard, and is probably a more reputable company than most out there.
