MPGs - It's US and not the G
So my wife's been driving the G this past weekend and part of this week.
I got it back from her today and saw that the trip "A" meter, which I reset every time I fill up, read 365mi and the gas gauge read just over 1/4 tank. Weird! So I called her to if she had top-ed off and she says "NO". Okay, I drove about 42 miles before the light came on and I filled up.
So it went to 407 miles on 1 tank of premium, in winter, with mushy winter tires, and took 16.629 gallons to fill, that's 24.47mpg. Most I've ever seen.
When I drive, under similar conditions with more highway thatnher, I barely get 330 a tank or about 20-21mpg...so what changed....THE DRIVER!!!!
So guys...it's how we drive and not the car that sucks at mpg. And my wife is not a granny style driver either. The only mod I have is z-tube with jwt pop.
I am going to give it to her in spring with oem tires and see if she can blow the sticker mpg off.
I also learned that I probably could not standing being a passenger in my G with her driving. I didn't buy this car for it's mpg's is for sure.

Great MPG! I agree it's the driver. I've read how some people barely get 300 miles/tank and I don't understand. I guess if I was rev-happy I will burn more, but I would have to do that every time I push the pedal.
Just came back from Las Vegas . . . didn't get as great MPG as you, but still managed ~405 miles (still haven't filled up to calculate MPG ).
