last trip to Omaha and back got me 27.6mpg going 75-80mph with four people in the car, that would have equaled 524.4miles if I went to 19gallons with 1gallon remaining. Better than I had expected, but still not on par with my previous cars.

It's not how big your gas tank is, it's how you use it. At least that's what I'm told.

That can't be. Try that on stock wheels and tires and post what kind of mileage you get.

On road trips, 400 miles per tank easily. LA driving and city streets, 325 here.

That can't be either because I don't have stock wheels...lol

Trust me, if you carefully press on and try to control the gas, you'll get more than 325.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the 05/06 have a 20 gallon tank? 19 per gallon is 380. I think city is claimed at 19 and highway at 25-28...

Make sure you fill up first, drive, then fill up again. Now divide your mileage traveled by number of gallons filled up on 2nd filling. Now go the other way doing the same. and average the 2 out. Don't follow car computer.

Max I have ever gotten was ~410 miles, car + jwt pop charger, in 50-60 F weather, tires inflated to 35psi before leaving, very little wind, not drafting a semi and using 93 octane. But it was a boring journey with cruise set to 72mph.

Fuel tank size is 20gal on all G35c's, infinitihelp reference below. Nissan throws the fuel warning indicator very early - approx 15 to 16 gals. I've seen 500+ miles on a pure interstate trip. It's all in the .01 lower coefficient of drag provided by the aero package

I drive about 30% highway, 70% city and get around 300+ miles a tank. When I drive from SF to LA, I get more like 425 cruising at 75mph.

Dang...20 gallon tank on our cars? That means we're actually getting alot less MPG than we calculated...
