I give up!
I ordered a G35 C 6MT six weeks ago the dealer said he could get it in a few weeks. A week later he said it was on it's way. The following week it arrived but with a rear spoiler. Dealer said he would switch the trunk lid, it would take one week. The following week he said he couldn't swith the lid, but he could get another car in one week. The following week he said the second car also had a rear spoiler even though the papers indicated it did not, but he said he located a third car and it would arrive in one, but guess what.
Does anyone know when the '05 will be available?

Dude, stop being such a pushover. He is just gonna screw you over for weeks and weeks and weeks, and when it finally comes in, he's just gonna sell it to you for as high as he can, claiming "it was so hard to get this car!!" etc.
No idea on the 05 model.

I took delivery of my 04 coupe on September 11th, 2003. I would expect the 05s to go on sale at about that time later this year??? Of course, if you order a brand new one you WILL pay sticker price. If you buy an 04 now you will get a nice discount!

Don't forget that the 2005 "update" is not even true yet. None of us have heard anything official from Infiniti. Also, car manufacturers follow the schedule of waiting AT LEAST 3 years (typically 5) until they give the car any kind of "face lift".

REH195 - damn, that really sucks. If I was in your place, I'd tell them to forget about it and go to another dealership. If this is the way they treat their customer, I'd prefer giving my money to someone else. Also, at this point, unless you really need a car for everyday driving, I'd wait for the 05, changes or not but that's just me.

Go INTO the dealership and inquire. I think the problem is, he might be selling them and then telling you otherwise. By the way I started looking in late August, and they had the 04's by then. I got mine Sept. 10, 2003.

i placed my order on "order day" in june (i think 6/6/03). at the time, me and dealer thought it would be an 03.
found out it would be the first of the 04's.
we locked in on a price so even though prices increased, it wasn't passed along.
plus, i was getting one of the first discounts off of msrp on a 6mtC
04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.
