2004 G35 Coupe 6MT Pricing
I just sold my 2003 Nissan Maxima SE w/6-speed, so I am looking to purchase a Diamond Graphite/ Graphite Leather +Aero Kit w/ Rear Spoiler+Moonroof+Body Side Moldings. Other exterior color choices are Black Obsidan, Brillant Silver; interior must be Graphite.
Could the org. members recommend dealers? I am looking to get a good deal.
So, far I have contacted Circle and Douglas Summit Infiniti in NJ, Grubbs Infiniti in TX they offer free shipping, Willow Grove in PA and my local Northenr Virginia Infiniti dealers.
TIA,
Ricky
I am willing to travel for the right price. Also is the Diamond Graphite a new color for 2004?

Are you hung up on the "gotta have a brand new car" thing like a lot of people? It depreciates several thousand when you drive it off the lot.
I shopped around and picked up a MINT, Black 6MT, with only 8K miles......can't tell anyone hase ever sat in it except for the odometer........from an individual.
And I paid $29.900.00, no tax, no dealer crap.
For the approx. $10K I saved.....I can do a lot of nice mods.
Just my opinion.

I would go to Summit or to Willow Grove in PA. I got mine in West Chester, but the people are nicer and better deal in Willow Grove. West Chester had my car at the time so that is why I dealt with them. See Chuck Reimel at Willow Grove or Dianna Chiles at Summit. Tell them Shelah sent you.

Re: 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT Pricing
I would like to find a nicely used G35 Coupe; but they are slim pickings. The G35 I have seen have scratches on the wheels and paint does not meet my expectations (minor nicks on bumpers). I am really **** when it comes to appearance. Also, I prefer to not purchase the 1st year of a new generation of any car. However, you do make alot of sense on depreciation. I figure I should buy in the near future in order to get good deal on a 2004.
So far, the best I have done is $1100 off MSRP; however that did not have the aero kit only aero package and my local dealer supersized me to a premium package which I do not want.

Got my 6mt/TB/Aero/premium/navi for $1500 off MSRP. Then the dealer decided to drop the $150 processing fee. If you live in NoVA, go to Passport. They offered me a good deal, but I found a better one at JBA in Ellicot City. However, 2 weeks after I bought my G, Passport sent me an e-mail saying they had a lot of G coupes instock and that they were going to sell them like 200 or so over invoice. I'd just check with the people at Passport. If you want to look at JBA, ask for Matt Mohr. He's the guy I bought my G from. I'm not sure if he'll remember me, but it's worth a try to see if you can get the same price or same discount at me. Tell him Chris, with the TB 6MT coupe sent you.

Keep working the dealers. I picked up my 6mt, DG,Premium, Splash, Aero last week from Ramsey Infiniti (north jersey) for almost 3K below msrp. I also worked with Summit Intiniti and got competetive pricing. Ask for Tony in Ramsey and Jamie in Summit.
When negotiating, negotiate off the invoice price. Ie.how many % you are willing to pay over invoice (should be able to get 1-3% over invoice). IMO, by negotiating off of msrp you are giving the dealerhsips the upper hand.
Good luck

Re: 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT Pricing
uh, it was like a month ago. Plus, my number could be a little off. What I did was I went to the infiniti website and found dealerships that had the car Iw as looking for. Then I called JBA and Passport (because they both had the car I wanted). JBA offered my 1300 off of MSRP. Then Passport also offered me 1300 off of MSRP. I then called JBA and Matt asked me what he could do to make me buy from him. Of course I said, "lower the price" so he said 1500 off of MSRP. So I went with JBA (because the processing fee was less, and he gave me a bigger discount). Anyways, when we went to put down the money, they said they'd take off the processing fee so bascially that was another $150 off.
Anywho, yes, I suggest the best thing you do is a little price comparison and have the dealers fight over your business (by fight, I mean off you the best prices). I also told them about Grubb's VPP pricing for FA forum (freshalloy.com)members. Actually, you could also ask Passport for a little price break because they are sponsor FreshAlloy.com as does Grubbs.
Oh yeah, Passport is good to buy from because they are mod friendly and I heard their their customer support/satisfaction/service department is fantastic. Everyone in the forums has convinced me to go to them for servicing instead of my original dealership.
Um, hope this little DC area Dealership critique helped.
