Under 250 miles per tank??? WTF
And it's 80% highway. All stock engine, I'm not even driving hard, AT ALL!
Is something up, or what? Any ideas? I just took it in to fix an axle click on the passenger side, they didn't mention anything else. I don't even use AC. Always use Premium unleaded, of course.
2006 MT Coupe, 42k miles. I've got a 600 mile round trip drive coming up this weekend and dreading it now. Am I just SOL?

I doubt I'll be able to get new tires for the trip, wanted to order them though a seller on here anyways. But I'll probably run to the stealership in the next couple days and get a new filter... If I can get 300/tank I'll be happy.
Here's the checklist I go through when I start getting crappy mileage/performance.
Tire pressure (inflate)
Air filter (replace)
Spark plugs (clean and regap if not bad, replace if needed)
Fuel filter (replace)
If all of those look okay, take it to Autojoke or another place that does free diagnostics. They can tell you if your MAF or O2 sensors are throwing codes. When those parts are starting to fail, they won't trigger an SES light right away unless it's REALLY starting to throw off the A/F readings. But it will still log the status of those parts if there is intermittent problems with them.
It's worked well for me, been getting 415-430 MPT from the sedan for the past few months.
