and of course I know that the car accelerates slowly - that`s why i`ve posted this topic. and i cannot find the problem. also in my location i cannot compare acceleration speed with other vehicle of the same type.
by the way what is your time for 0 to 60 mph?
6.2 is what it should be stock...i have an 5AT as well and was running a 14.3 at the track with just my intake on, i havent ran since then..its probably something simple with your car, reset your ecu and shift higher.
Are you shifting at redline every gear? Try to put in some Britney Spears in the CD player, that will get you going. J\k. Anyway, its odd that even with new tires your car cant grip its way to 6 sec 0-60. I dont know what it can be.
P.S. Try the Britney man itll work!

my location is the town in the midpart of Russia 400 miles east from Moscow. So I got the nearest official Infiniti service in 150 miles & the same distance divides me from any other infiniti coupe))) cause it`s very rear vehicle in my country.
will drive there this weekend

The the original poster, it's already been stated that you should brake torque the launch. You state that you launching from 0rpm. Your car is developing *zero* torque. That's the primary reason its so slow. From the video, it doesn't look like the acceleration from 30 to 60 is all that bad.
Question: when you go full throttle, are the rear tires spinning at all?

no, I never tried to launch the car holding the gas & brake pedal simultaneously & then braking off. I know it`s faster but it may destroy the automatic transmission, isn`t it?
answer your question: sometimes they spin over when launching first second at 2-2,5 rpm - as in the first video http://ru.youtube.com/watch?v=nobqmR_rdg4sometimes they don`t - as in my second video http://ru.youtube.com/watch?v=nobqmR_rdg4

definitely brake torque and maybe have another person do the timing. Trying to multi-task with the cell phone timer, launching the car, and watching the speedometer might not yield accurate result. There might be something wrong with the car if your result doesn't improve.
well that makes me think...
i might be on the same boat as u
im gonna have to check it out
my 1/4 mile was 15.1 seconds the best i could do
with 20's, intake, exhaust, 5/16 spacer
i was so dissapointed and i was beating the crap outta my car for those times
