Acceleration is too slow (8 sec 0-60 mph)! why?
Its definitely just because you still haven't reset the ECU and youre not shifting with tiptronic. You should be shifting at around 7.0K-7.1K RPMs, not 6.5K. im sure that'll change your 0-60 by a good second or two
Non Rev Ups redline at 6600.
07 G35 coupe A/T comes with 275 @ 6,200 rpm and 270 id-ft @ 4,800 rpm, and the 6MT come with 293 @ 6,400 rpm and 260 ib-ft @ 4,800 rpm. Maximum engine speed is reached at 6,600 rpm for the 5A/T and 7,000 rpm for the 6M/T. Curb weight is 3,505 for the A/T and 3,524 for the 6 M/T. GVWR IS 4,391 pnds. I put my car on an automotive scale last week and it was 3,540 pnds with the stock 19''wheel package. The 20'' are going to slow you down because the forged wheels that come on the G35 is lighter than the chrome wheels you installed. Here is the source of my information. http://www.pkwp-law.com/models/2007/...ifications.htm
8 seconds seems to be awfully slow. Here is mine with a few bolts on. It was close to 6.0 second flat roughly estimated.
Conditions: Sea level, dry day,55F,VDC off, almost a full tank. Vietnamese music lol.
I should be able to go under 6 if brake booster was applied!
