Re: BAD Jerking motion in my G

Great.. now that I know at least 5 - 6 Coupes and 3-4 Sedan is having that shuttering problem. See if you can find out your TCU version from our dealer.. Mine's AC111. I am suspecting the transmission control program that is making tht problem. I would like to ask you guys to test it in tiptronic mode. I've driving tiptronic for a week now and not a glitch yet.

BAD Jerking motion in my G, with solution

Hi all,

Just found out that there are quite a few guys out there with their Gs having the same problem, but the guys say they fixed it by reprogramming the TCU. So If your G has this annoying jerking motion, go to your dealer and ask for a TCU reflash. I would suggest that you ask them to do a print out of the TCU before the reflash and one after just to make sure they did you ask for. Please post your result about regarding if the problem fixed or not after the reprogramming.

Hope this helps.

same thing happened today! slight jerk like it might cut off then less then a second later, runs great doubt its a transmission problem, I have 85k on the car and drive it smooth no aggressive driving. btw mine is a 6spd manual

Is there any update on this issue? I have been running into something very similar. I have an 06 g35x 5at. As I am driving at a constant speed it feels like something grabs. But the rpms never change. So that leads me to believe it isnt a transmission problem. Any update would be appreciated.
